Date: 2008-12-03 02:18 pm (UTC)Besides Tales of the Black Freighter, what are they doing with the various texts that appear at the end of the first 11 chapters, like the excerpts from Behind the Mask and the Veidt Corporation memos? (I like the irony of all the merchandising that is appearing in Previews at the moment in this regard.)

Date: 2008-12-03 02:28 pm (UTC)This said, one of the things that put me off the second and third Matrix films was the sense that you were supposed to buy into also watching the animated series and playing the computer games etc to get the full story. Though this time, since I already know the full story from the comic, maybe that won't be such an issue.
