henriksdal for sending me the link to the amazing image resizer, which takes the fab technology I linked to a while back and puts it into a Flash app that just works.

To use it, drag the sliders to the point you _think_ you'll want to resize to (you can mark certain areas as protected/to be erased first) and wait while it does some calculations as to which bits to remove. When it's done it will pop back to its original size. Then you can drag the handles on the edge of the image to make it change down to that size.
