This pretty much sums up how I feel about life and meaning. And why I don't tend to take it seriously when people talk about fitting in, success, being more adult, and other things that don't sound like they'd make my life any more fun.

I completely and totally agree. Regardless of how long I'm going to live (and I hope it is very long indeed) for me, life is meant to be lived and enjoyed and anything that gets in the way in of that is any long-term fashion is nothing I want any part of.

Don't you think that when people talk about fitting in, success, being more adult, etc. they're talking about how they can make their lives seem more fun to them? If it's not going to make your life any more fun then fair enough, there's no reason you should adopt their aims as your own, but why not take their goals seriously as being their goals for a fun filled life?

Ugh! Yeah, if they're universalising or imposing their meanings on you then absolutely they are to be ignored.

I blame entropy, that's what I blame.

The question is: Are you going to eat the fairy cake?
