The last hour has largely been spent phoning people up to organise mortgage things. Because I changed which flat Iwas going for Standard Life have got to send me out new application forms. At the same time I pushed for a 95% loan and for a 10 year fixed amount. This means that even if interest rates go back up, I'll be ok, and the extra 5% will give me about £3k to move house, sort the bathroom out, deal with emergencies, etc.

This whole moving house thing is a pain in the arse, to be honest. I'm already looking forward to it being over!
