Some of the questions were a tad weird though. I don't need someone to do chores for me to feel loved!

I really like the concept, first came across it in christian circles, but I think it does make sense. Seems to me the test is wonky tho, its much easier to just self diagnose this stuff. I know that my best friend is Gifts of Service, whereas I am much more quality time and affirmation. Its good to spot what you are and what the other needs. It certainly lessens my resentment when forced to speak a second or third language for someone else.

I'd guess you were more acts of service.

Oh Good Lord No, I'm not actually that interested in people doing things for me. Which isn't to say I don't appreciate it, but it's not something I care about very much.

I I love someone I just want to be with them - both spatially and physically (if you see what I mean).

i was thinking more generically, not so much about the in-loveness, but how we communicate our love and care through our own small world of friends and family. You seem to do a lot for the people around you, your LJ often has "off to X's to help them do Y", thats kind of what I meant.

Oh, I don't mind doing things for other people. And I have a strong dislike of things not working - once I get my teeth into a problem I'm generally determined to sort it or die trying.

But I don't particularly want it reciprocated - I'd much rather just be appreciated :->
