I've got my phone largely synchronising with Google Calendar and you can find the results here. It's not perfect yet (it seems to be skipping lots of birthdays), but other than that...

I'm using GooSync, who seem to actually take an interest in making their service work, pay attention to their forums, and have been helpful enough so far that I've actually paid them money for the advanced features.

I was using Yahoo Calendar, synchronising via Yahoo Go - but for some reason they decided that moving to version 2.0 meant dropping all the things I actually used in version 1.0 (i.e. synchronising contacts, calendar, etc).

If anyone can recommend any other phone<->online calendar systems I'd appreciate it...

Gotcha. Right, I think you are limited to gcalsync (native Java to your phone), goosync (SyncML middle server) and scheduleworld (SyncML middle server) if I'm not mistaken, that's what I know about anyway.

I'm jealous: that looks really cool, but they don't support my phone yet. :-/

It's an LG CU500 (http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=951). My husband uses GooSync, and he's had a few problems, but has mostly enjoyed it as well.
