You've watched Buffy or played Vampire (or if not, you're my Mum. Nobody reads this list and doesn't fall into one of those categories). You've therefore always wondered - how many vamps can actually share a town with people.

And here, finally, is the answer. Worked out properly by someone far too smart who should have been working rather than calculating fictional population densities.

This is amazingly fun, thanks. I sent the link to the the folks (Eden Publications) doing the Buffy RPG, suggesting that having this person write a sidebar for the Sunnydale Sourcebook might be an excellent idea.

Isn't this the kind of thing people do at work? Heaven knows, I only read my professional magazines for the descriptions of various con and fraud schemes -- so that I can use them in games.
