I liked Charlies Angels a lot. I like my action movies goofy; because, frankly, I can't take them seriously so I don't see why they should. Give me over the top stunts witty one-liners and a large helping of silliness - all of which Charlies Angels provided in spades.

So when I saw the new trailer was out I went a took a look. And saw possiblt the world's most ridiculous stunt. It pretty much kicks the ass of my previous favourite stunt - the motorbike chasing a plane off a cliff at the start of Goldeneye. I don't care if I've just ruined one of the best stunts of the movie for myself, because that was just incredible.

Ahem, my enthusiasm has obviously overrided everything else - bedtime for me!

I also greatly enjoyed Charlies Angels, it was fun, light, fluff with good special effects, which is pretty much exactly what I want out of an action picture. It also had the great virtue of being cheesy in a fun way rather than being too over-the-top (unlike far too many non-serious films these days).

I've just watched that trailer and it filled me with JOY. That truly is a ridiculous stunt which damn well better get a round of applause when it screens in a busy cinema. :)

It appears, again, that Charlie's Angels is all about Cameron Diaz's ass.

Praise be.
