This is a test post from the new Jabber interface. To be honest I can't think of a reason for ever using this rather than the norma LJ client. When would I ever have access to one rather than the other???

Oh, I don't know - Jabber is a relatively simple protocol, if you were stuck with an ancient machine you could always put linux and a command line jabber client on it before telling us all of your predicament :P

But yeah, it is somewhat stupid. Especially with a character limit!
