There's something about the gamer/coder personality type that is more than a function of
1. Being good at analytical thinking
2. Poor performance in social situations.



I would update this quote so that 1. said: "Thinks he/she is good at analytical thinking."

Some of the gamers in online forums are hilarious in the analytical thinking and use of what can barely even be described as "logic".

Let's put it like this, there was a discussion of pen and paper RPGs on the forums and no one posted saying "ZOMG! WTF! G33KZ0rZ! I w1ll b34t 0n j00 4 /me=t3h j0ck!!!"

So the kind of lonely superhero-obsessed person who actually uses the forums for the game is, indeed, a geek.
