Edit: Oh, and William Goldman is working on a musical version of The Princess Bride.

On the one hand, all my fantasy-geek-girl movie wishes are coming true, on the other hand this like all movie adaptations has high potentiality for major suckage. If they don't do it right.

I think John Hodge sounds like a good choice. The Dark is Rising is pretty... dark.
