Nothing to say

My emotions are all over the place, and you may have noticed I've written pretty much nothing of any note in a few weeks.

My brain hasn't shut down - work is going extremely well, and I'm happy with the work I've been doing.  But I can't seem to actually engage with anything that isn't abstract or right in front of my face.  Occasionally, something will leap out and demand a response, but I can't summon the enthusiasm to actually start writing about something.

I'm going to assume that this, too, shall pass, and in the meantime I intend to play computer games, hide in my flat, and recover from a month that's been faaaaar too long.

Oh, and read Alien Loves Predator, which I've just discovered, and kicks ass.

sounds like the way i go after too much time with too many people, kind of autistic shut down, regroup time. i plan to spend the weekend catching up with lost/sixfeetunder/medium/nighty night etc, all stored on my "tivo" (well PVR they're calling it) just for such batten-down-the-hatches occasions.

Yeah - I've got three episodes of Lost to watch, and a flat to tidy up/lounge about in. Plus Half-Life 2 to finish.

I'm feeling about the same, actually - I've been doing lots of random commenting, but haven't even written up WorldCon yet, never mind the Berlin weekend or the Stratford-upon-Avon weekend or anything else going on.
