Oh, I liked the idea of a privatised christmas and "Aggravated Subarborial Giftery" as a crime. Reminded me of The Space Merchants and similar.

And yeah - I'm not anywhere near as left-wing as him, just amused by the ideas.

I like to think of left & right wing as being 2 ends of a linear scale and myself off to one side somewhere. I'm not aware of there being an organized formal Libertarian/Green faction of any form but that'd be something like me.

Although I'm also a Marxist. And so I wouldn't want to join any party that'd have me as a member. (Good gods, man, you don't think I meant that nutter Karl, do you?)
