Eyeballing

The eye recognition test here is interesting.

I scored 25, firmly within the bounds of normality.

However, I did so by asking myself "If I saw those eyes in a film, what would they be trying to portray?"

Which, as I'm sure they are largely _from_ films makes sense :->

hey, i got a 29!
and i got a 43 (above avg) on the systemizing quotient, a 30 (low) on the empathizing quotient. Hmmm. Low on empathizing. That doesn't really sound right. I wonder how much these results are off based on what ppl think of themselves as opposed to how they actually are. I mean, my results might be different if a test had bunches of scenarios listed and asked me to figure out how a person in those scenarios was feeling, as opposed to just asking if i'm good at figuring out how ppl I'm talking to are feeling.

I don't really like these kinds of tests (don't have a score got fed up 4 questions in) because there is a 1 in 4 chance of guessing the correct answer anyway and seeing four possible answers meaning different things must influence how people perceive the picture. It would be far more accurate not to have multiple choice but sadly not really feasible for an online test.
