Pretty much entirely right.  I was born into the middle class, I _do_ worry about financial security, I've never had to work terribly hard (by comparison to the vast majority of mankind, that is - I do put in the occasional 50-hour week), but on the other hand I have pretty alternative views about many things and don't care about fitting in.
