HL2 so far

Well I've only played for half an hour - but so far there's been an introductory dream sequence, I've stepped off of a train into a rather bleak Russian city, had my photograph taken by flying drones that swoop around the place taking photos of everyone, watched people being harrassed by police in gasmasks, been rescued from interrogation by an old friend (from the first game), escaped through a back window, seen a huge three-legged walking machine in the distance and watched two speeches given on huge 1984-style TVs.  Then I had to go to work.

Yeah, when you come off the Plaza there's a search going on, and over the fence behind it you see a walker go past.

I'm about 3 minutes beyond the bit with the machine-gun emplacement.

I just got the gravity gun, playing from 2 in the afternoon till midnight.

It's a very good sign that I played a couple of levels while dying for the loo.
