For various work reasons I've been working late for the last two weeks (average leaving time 6:30-7:00) and have also been in on Saturdays.  This will go on for the next few weeks and is the reason that I haven't really posted anything of note.

My brain will resume functioning at some point - in the mean time I'm off to shoot people in the face.

In related news - HL2 out next Tuesday!  Wahey!

Please tell me about this word "wahey". What does it mean? How is it pronounced? Which syllable does the stress go on? Is it part of any interesting compound phrases?

I ask because I recently learned the word "oooh-er," and the compound "oooh-er missus," and they are so delightful that I'm keeping an eye out for other interesting words of that sort.

It's a rallying cheer. I believe it dates back to Burns poem Scots Wha Hae

Oh, I see! So theoretically you're rallying your fellow Scots to play HL2 with you. That's pretty cool. I'm going to start saying this to people to see if they rally.
