I got two mentions in Guardian Online yesterday (both letters, one on SPF and one on VOIP)

Sadly, they spelt my name wrongly in one of them, but you can't have everything.

Would it spoil your impression of publishing life if I addmitted that every mag I've ever worked out has always been scraping around to find enough letters to publish each issue? :-)

SPF is some kind of rating system for sun-cream, and the VOIP are the alien race that's coming to destroy us all?

VOIP = Voice Over Internet Protocol - allowing you to throw away your phone line and connect your phone direct to your internet connection. Obviously, this only works well if you have broadband.

SPF = Sender Policy Framework (had to go look that up) - it's a forthcoming standard to stop people lying about their email address. Most spam comes from forged addresses, this will mean that people aren't able to do that, step one of stopping spam.

I suppose I should be clearer about my jargon :->
