Are there potential little Andrews in the future? Should we be afraid?

So, I'm not the only one annoyed by the BBC sneaking out the newest series of Coupling on BBC3, without so much as a whisper?

Thank you for the offer of bribery, but I have it on tape too. Plus, it'll be repeated ad infinitum on BBC3 before, during and after it finally makes it to BBC2. Possibly before a few episodes of Little Britain.

... and yes, I found it by accident! I don't know if I've taped it, but it has been up on at least one of the torrent sites ...

... oh, and can anyone recommend a few good torrent sites?

... and can anyone recomment a good bittorrent client? I use the standard one (bittorrentgui.exe or whatever) but now I've opened ports 6881-6889 the upload is maxing out my PC, so I need a client where I can throttle the upload)

According to the Doctors and other medical professionals involved with bringing my three children into the world a continuation of the close loving relationship (medical reasons excepted) that prompted their arrival is good for the emotional development of the child.

Surely, like many things, it's a matter of personal taste. Why is it depressing?

Well, because those of us who've been pregnant didn't want to have to give up sex for the duration are not particularly impressed to hear that we're considered sick, wrong or icky as a result...

Well, I think the mass opinion in this thread suggests you're not considered too sick, wrong or icky :)

At least it's fine until your son starts poking you in the forehead asking, "How you like that? Huh? Huh?"

So, was the choice of the word "conceivable" a conscious choice?

Of course, "sick," "wrong," and "icky" are all Andrew's words, not ours. I chose the second option because it fits most closely, though "icky" isn't necessarily what I would have chosen. I'm not, at this moment in time, "just fine" with it. But remember, that's my preference and probably my hang up, not a reflection on pregnant women.

You left out the right answer, which is 'really more complicated than you want to think about'. It's a sort of engineering thing.

It's a difficult one.
It's a shame that the hang up about pregnant women is still as widespread as it is, but it's not the fault of the individual people who have the hang up.

I personally have quite a strong self-esteem* and I felt sexy when I was pregnant, so if other people didn't agree I regarded it as their problem, not mine.
But I do know women who felt terrible throughout their pregnancies because they were afraid of being perceived as unattractive, especially by their partners.

* Awaits sarcastic remarks on the subject of my self-esteem... :o)

It wasn't that complicated...
You just have to be a bit creative in later pregnancy.

The earlier part of pregnancy was actually worse for me. There are times when you just don't want to get an attack of morning sickness...

My mom said told me that the boyfriend she had while she was pregnant with me told her sex while pregnant makes the baby stronger. Which I think scarred me for life, and so there goes that theory about strong emotional development.
