I don't *think* things can get to the point where drones are seriously parasitic on the power grid, but it's one more thing for dystopia.

Eventually we'll see the supply levels droop along with the physical lines!

Probably not enough to be a serious power issue (except perhaps in special cases) but there is a legal/billing issue here.

Oh, and is it always obvious whose power line you are using, or are there places with overlapping electricity franchises ?
