Glasgow still feels much more city-like to me than Edinburgh.

Which is probably why I prefer living in Edinburgh.

It's a great city. I just wouldn't want to live there.

I'm not a city dweller as you know although I did spend seven years in London.

Yeah, I think a large reason for me being happy with Edinburgh despite not looking cities was a few visits that made it clear how small the city was, with fields surrounding it.

I'm a Glaswegian native, but been a long time away. After 20 years + near and in London then a decade in Germany, the thing that strikes me about Glasgow is that it's LOW. Far fewer tall buildings than I have apparently got used to. I never noticed that when I lived in the area.

I'm NOT an Edinburgh person, just never have been.
