Sophia and Gideon making the DNA for their respective eye colours.

(First ever trip to the Glasgow Science Centre, it was awesome)

Science museums are cool, especially for children. I have fond childhood memories of visiting ones in Seattle, Chicago, Toronto. The neatest thing about the one in Toronto was the speech-generator. It had a keyboard labeled with phonemes instead of letters, and after you'd typed you'd press the enter key and it would say aloud what you'd just typed. Pretty advanced for 1971.
(I made it say "Nixon is a crook." Also pretty advanced for 1971.)
But I've never been able to figure out eye color. Looking at your kids from this distance, their eyes look to me as dark in the middle and white around the edges, just like everybody else's.

As a person with dark brown hair (well, it used to be...) and the grey-blue colour changing eyes that mostly look dark in most photos, I can easily see that Sophia's eyes are blue. I guess it takes practice :-)

The museum sounds fantastic!

Definitely. It depends a lot on the environment they grow in.
