But I found it in the comments of an article about people "marrying" their AIs. So...

There's a very good novella about a woman who marries an AI. I'll see if I can remember the author.

That's great to hear. They are pretty impressive to see.

We have a TON of cranes here where I am. Also storks, egrets, ducks, geese, I've seen 80+ swans at once ... That's just the wetland birds I know. There are loads and loads of other birds too in all the different habitats.
