By the way, a link on that page led to this one, which describes a Tory being left sputtering in an interview after it was pointed out that, if trans women have to use men's rooms, then trans men have to use women's rooms.

They don't have the resources at all. I strongly suspect they're just looking for a way to not take people seriously and not treat them.

A cynic replies...

If the diagnoses supported discrimination and exclusion from treatment, unlimited resources would be made available.

Unless, of course, the unfounded 'accusation' of being autistic, or exhibiting ADHD, were equally effective, impossible to disprove, infinitely flexible and cheap.

Also: a well-resourced diagnosis, viewed as 'clinical proof' of unsuitability, would be used to deny a greater range of effective therapies, for a far larger set of conditions than gender dysphoria.
