10. I am reminded of a line from an episode of WKRP, something Lillian Carlson said about why she tolerated the titular radio station of that series being a money-loser...and why she wanted it to go on losing money:
"It's not the plus and minus, Mr. Fever. It's the plus and plus IF the minuses are played correctly."
In this case, I'm hearing and reading that a lot of good TV is getting made as a consequence of a similar decision...

Date: 2025-03-21 06:09 pm (UTC)If they sent you to El Salvador if there is evidence and home if there is not (they can still ban you from coming back ever again) I would be able to see some sort of screwy logic, but this is brute slavery (and poor business).

But I both don't fancy taking the risk and don't want to support them.
