3) Poking around in some other articles impresses me with the Herald as a really good commentary paper. If I were in Scotland I'd subscribe like a shot.

I should probably find the time to take a decent look at it.

In the past The Scotsman had an Edinburgh slant and The Herald a Glasgow one. But I suspect things have moved on.
