2) I took diversity training at work once, not as a punishment but because we were all required to take it. It was totally useless. To a person like myself already accepting of diversity, it added nothing useful; and to one who denied it, it said nothing which would be convincing or even comprehensible.

They really don't tend to do these things in a way that would help the people who most need it.

I do not know that I would want to assume that all are useless because one was useless.
