4. Not Demonizing Men!

That mother needs to deal with her issues because she cannot be a good mother to her children if she is demonizing one of their parents, and a lot of other people. I managed to raise two sons without demonizing men by talking about the personal responsibility people have for their bad choices and bad actions - it's very gender essentialist to blame all men for the patriarchy, even if men have benefited from it. They've also been damaged by it!

She did also strike me as somewhat clueless.

Also, at those ages, her daughters are grown women, not children. They will be be having their own experiences and making their own minds up. And have been doing so for some years, likely.
