Half an hour later and I just had to help the most slippery 4 year old ever out of the bath to go to the toilet, while her feet had no friction whatsoever. And then I had to wash slime off of *everything*, including the hair trap in the shower, which was full of very slimy hair! She's currently showering off the last of the slime, and has already told me she's looking forward to next time...

So how hard was it to clean the slime out? Our bath has quite a slow run out but it might be a fun thing to do in a year or two...

Not that hard. We have a portable bath, so it took a while, and I had to stand on a slimy surface in the wet room while it went down the plug hole. But you add some powder to it to help it dissolve, dilute it 50%, and then let it go down the hole, and it went fine.

I don't think you'd want it to dry out in the pipes, so have another bath shortly afterwards to make sure it all gets flushed out :-)

Well, it'd likely be next year before she's really big enough for it anyway, so on a warm day would be the idea.

I'd advise against using it in the garden. The slime stuff kills grass, and probably other plants.

I do wonder if most people are that reasonable about things, and we just have a very noisy 5%!

I think so. The minority that seem to be having a panic reaction to things changing are very noisy, but I doubt most people particularly care much and are to a greater or lesser extent just happy to go along with whatevers easiest for them.
