I'm slightly surprised that cats with Egyptian DNA don't appear in Greek and Roman sites, given that both Greeks and Romans spent a lot of time in Egypt between 4C BC and 4C AD. Of course they may not have tested Greek and Roman sites, but there are a lot of archaeological sites in both countries.
