Date: 2022-09-18 06:46 pm (UTC)I genuinely don't know why I'm surprised to read that.
On an unrelated note, I have a request. I don't have a twitter account and don't intend to get one, and every time you post a link such as https://twitter.com/Joeedwa19939743/status/1570705433580699652?t=vEgbujt3ge_vr6PfGzAD2g&s=09 twitter insists on cutting me off early. However, if I click a link such as https://twitter.com/Joeedwa19939743/status/1570705433580699652 then twitter does not decide to be an asshole.
Do you mind stripping out all the stuff from the URLs after the ? when you post twitter links? If you do, no worries, I can keep on stripping them out myself after the fact.

Date: 2022-09-18 09:08 pm (UTC)My workaround is to replace the https://twitter.com/ at the front of the URL with https://nitter.net/ and leave the rest unchanged, which is also a generally less Javascripty experience and tends to behave more predictably. The only thing it doesn't work well for is videos.
