I still don't, but I would NOT recommend that to others - I am a bit freaky and have never had an infected cut in my life, not even burns not even that got wet and dirty. I think I recall that psoriasis might make your skin very anti-biotic ... but more fungus prone (check!).
In my teens and adulthood, "painkillers" (except morphine when I had a broken leg) just don't, so for me there's no reason for me to take them. I have to think hard to remember that they might work for others even if they don't for me.
But I suppose generally, I'm not in favour of regularly medicating mild, normal and non-dangerous discomforts away. That's my own thing, I'm absolutely not intending to inflict my thinking on others.
