So where are the BBC going to be made to issue an apology?

I don't scare easy around knownothing morons (even though the idea that I'd be capable of harming a child hurts me deeply- you know what I did for a living) but this is a horror for the young and inexperienced.

Beginning to think that the handover of editorial control over Doctor Who to Bad Wolf/Sony may be a blessing if this intransigence from BBC News' editorial people continues.

"the actor" - what actor? Do they mean Gilliam? Gilliam has been known to act, yes, but so have Donald Trump and Viktor Orban. Gilliam is primarily a director, and before that he was an animator. I regret if his saying stupid things will prevent his production of "Into the Woods", which would be an interesting show.

The stupidest thing he said was "When I announce that I'm a black lesbian in transition, people take offence at that. Why?" Because people going through real transitions are struggling with deep questions about their identity, while you're just trolling. Knock it off.

I don't know why they said "actor". Animator and director would both have been better, I agree.

Another stood excerpt from an interview with him:
Talking about an actress who works as a model and escort: “In the age of #MeToo, here’s a girl who takes responsibility for her state,” says Gilliam. “Whatever happened in this character’s life, she’s not accusing anybody. We’re living in a time where there’s always somebody responsible for your failures, and I don’t like this. I want people to take responsibility and not just constantly point a finger at somebody else, saying, ‘You’ve ruined my life.’”
