Hancock was asked for a bit of clarity and has just made things worse.

By all means go for a walk together but stay 2m apart.

He didn't mention friends so this means everyone, so when he and I go for a walk in the woods, we're supposed to be 2m apart then we go home and share the same table, bed, couch etc....................?

If supermarkets have to ban people who don't wear masks, does that mean that masks are still not mandatory in the UK, in spite of everything and a full year into a pandemic?

It's mandatory and completely unenforced.

Speaking as someone who cycled a distance of 6 miles away from home last weekend and 6 miles back again, 7 miles doesn't seem so bad? But not the same as driving 7 miles and then cycling around.

And since we live on the edge of miles and acres of forest and hill country accessible by walking less than half a mile, who's to know anyway?

Providing there's a mattress, I'd choose the boat bed. Seems to me it has more space and I won't risk injuring myself getting in or out.

Bedrooms

Younger me would have liked a lot of those at different stages in my life, although I am not very good with being cooped up.

Current me likes the bunks with tree trunks. The lower bunk for me, and the upper bunk for my furry girls. They can climb the trunks, sleep on the bunks, and *not* land on any part of me when they jump down. (Definite plus.) Also - windows and lots of space.

I'm not fond of either the net trampoline (goodbye phone through the mesh), or the one where I can't decide whether it is all plastic or all ice. Either way - nay.
