Agh! Showing you of how many people you've been near at all is actually really useful[1] but that's a very unhelpful way to do it!

[1] Well, unless it's just "yes, all my household". Not sure if there's a way to avoid that.

But it still might be useful -- if it says "you have contacted two people today" and you're pretty sure one of them was your nesting partner, you know roughly how many other people.

I'm sure they are fine!
3 hours would have been an issue 20 years ago, but I'm middle aged now, and tired.

Then I had to go make a post about all the things that still work around here after 20 years!

The review author doubts a crimped connection rather than solder on a vibrating device - but on boats, crimp connectors (ideally with a shrink wrap cover) is standardly recommended in preference to solder precisely because of the extra jolting and jerking a boat gets. Solder is thought to be more rigid and more brittle, therefore more likely to break. (Plus a crimp connection can be repaired without needing a soldering iron or the need to keep eveything so steady - e.g. in bumpy seas, but that would be a niche market for a vibrator!).

Oddly, the author does mention solder's brittleness in connection with the redesigned buttons. The Doxy has similar buttons - reassuringly still working fine after 6+ years.
