Good to see people haven't forgotten about Europe's little problem with refugees.

I contribute to a charity that used to do Med rescues of refugees before they were forced out. International Maritime Law states you resuce ANYONE and EVERYONE in distress at sea, unless it would put your vessel in danger. I would have to check, but I think you can take them to the nearest safe port.

I am disgusted when any one ignores that and doubly, nay trebly so that the EU has been colluding with such behaviour and banned the rescue efforts.

The actions of the Lybians are also reprehensible, and the EU should not be allowing this.
