1. We're still treating too many inmates across the planet as disposable. This is an Error, and I suspect you and I are already in agreement on that point.

2. That is an injustice in its own ways.

I love that Regency costuming thread, thanks so much for pointing it out!

Especially amused by the 'War & Peace (2016): FAIL (the definitive. The failest of all fails)' because that caused an awful lot of comments in this household - many along the lines of 'Gillian Anderson looks fabulous in that as always but What The Hell was the costume designer thinking?? Had they done *any* research?!'

I take it they'd just grabbed some random costumes out of the big box, and not bothered to check if they were authentic?

Oh I think someone had had marvellous fun making a bunch of dresses, especially when they got to dress Gillian Anderson like some sort of Goddess. But their idea of Regency dress for women seemed to be that if it was empire line, it was close enough. I think there may have been a zip on view at one point...
