I dunno, maybe I need to do more research, but who exactly decided that was the definition of sapiosexual? I, and others have been using it for years to mean finding smart sexy. I'm not sure where "intelligence" as a measure came in. It's not necessarily high IQ, which yes, is BS, but someone who's smart, interested in learning, knows a lot of things. And goat picture aside, I'm a woman, not some shitty man.

That's also how it's defined in common culture -- dictionaries, articles, etc.

Yep, shitty men use it. Shitty men ruin everything, don't they? ;) (For the record, shitty women are also doing their part to ruin things, just don't have enough power.)

I think the poster needs to come up with a new word for being attracted to someone with the same interests.
