Yes, but I've never seen "Zero Hour", so the fact has been of no use or significance to me.

This is good on Milwaukee, let's see some concrete actions. I live in Madison (capital of Wisconsin) - we pride ourselves on being "progressive", but there's still plenty of racism in this city too. The whole state is really bad, and I used to look down on "southerners" (I still do, admittedly, politically), but am more aware of the awfulness of the plank in my own state's eye. Wisconsin has (or had?) the highest or one of the highest incarceration rates of black people per capita. It's horrendous.

State of Joe McCarthy, don't forget. There are still a lot of his kind of people out in the rural parts.

Honestly I think the worst offenders are the Fox Valley and Milwaukee burbs.

In the rural areas, it's definitely tilted more right since the 80s when I was growing up (My first political argument was with the daughter of our landlord (who happened to be our neighbor and farmers), and my folks, conservatives, and so I said "REAGAN REAGAN" and she retorted"MONDALE MONDALE" as kids oft repeat their parents at that age...

But I believe even they became more conservative.

But yeah, Wisconsin is a land of contrasts, for sure. Just infuriates me the latest political gamesmanship, and how, as much as I despised Tommy Thompson for many things, he's still better than the current tinpots running this looney bin.
