I don't have a Twitter account to reply to J with.

But the Google search results all start with 9 because they're the same (or nearly the same) list of Facebook pages, starting with 9, in different languages. There happens to be (or at one time was) a page for "9 mile Hone Fa plywood factory" (I can only find that page now without "9 mile") and another page for (9 de octubre Tolhuin):

In many areas of business the state has deemed particular standards of behaviour important enough to pierce the veil of limited liability and make directors and senior managers personally responsible if fail and also to include "fit and proper" person tests.

These include

Health and Safety and Environmental areas of all sorts.

State security.

Financial management and financial intermediary business

(This is in addition to provisions aimed at preventing outright crime like money laundering or fraud).

I don't see any reason why running a social media business should be any different. We have enough empirical evidence that they can cause great harm to individuals and society if not properly managed and that exiting regulation doesn't fully address the specific issues or provide a robust remedy.

Monetising social media by turning a blind eye to paedophile networks and so on is not okay.

Until a few people get locked up for that sort of stuff nothing is going to change.
