Date: 2018-08-09 07:44 am (UTC)I think most of the funding for railways is allocated through the transport funding settlements and is done pretty far ahead but for things like stations there seems to be a requirement for co-funding. I was specifically looking out for some funding to secure stations at East Linton and Reston on the communter part of the East Coast Mainline.

For comparison, I think there *are* things where I confuse "this is true" and "I believe this" and "maybe it would be good if we believe this", mostly ethical principles, like "allowing people to choose for themselves is a good thing".
