Hmm isn't that point also used by gun control opponents?

It's not a terrible point though. (And is used by drug legalisation advocates too. And some copyright minimalists).

There's definitely a balance between "How easy is it to break this law" versus "What happens if people break it".

Interesting that the RSS article didn't mention Feedbin. Perhaps because it's a pay site? I love it myself.

Never used it myself. Not sure I've ever bumped into it.

I got it from a rec of Maciej's around the time Google Reader was collapsing and fandom was moving from Delicious to Pinboard. Same basic business principles (Pay me so I don't suck and sell you out to the advertisers) and it works well for me. I haven't looked at the rest of them since I decided I like Feedbin best so I"m not sure how the features compare any longer.

In Canada, even people still in prison are provided with ballots and expected to cast their vote. It's an important part of keeping them integrated with society, and a human right that must not be denied them.

I selfhost TTRSS. It works well enough, but I admit the past few years my feedreading's gone down. :(

Also really dislike the guy who makes it - "gas chamber" is his "joke" name for the trash bin for feeds, and he's "just a joke" attitude.

But for what i need it works.

I tried TTRSS at the time, but hit some issues. Thankfully Feedly are cheap enough that I never had to go back to looking at self-hosting again!

The RSS article also failed to mention Newsblur (www.newsblur.com), which I've been happily using since Google Reader went away. I tried a few of the others, and Newsblur works best for me.
