I shouldn't really be surprised that something in this article pissed me off given that I see it's written by a notorious transphobe, but I did have to refrain from yelling at my screen in the office that not only *straight* women have experience of dating men. *grumble, grumble* bi-invisibility *grumble, grumble*

The actual short story does indeed chime very strongly with my experience of dating at that age.

As a bi person, I agree. This is not the exclusive domain of heterosexual women. Many parts of the story resonated for me too.

Talking of which, I've noticed a couple of times in recent days that commenters are referring to links by number. Maybe it might be a good idea to add numbers to the original post, so when someone says "link number 15" the rest of us don't have to count?
