"Steven Moffat reveals all" and still can't resist making a Colin Baker Is Fat "joke" after 32 years FFS.

I stopped reading in disgust at that point, so didn't find out much about anything.

Spatial

I found the article about gender differences in spatial awareness interesting because I have always been better at spatial awareness than my SOGP. I put it down to learning how to sew at a young age - you have to be able to flip pattern pieces to get the best layout for cutting, and you also have to be able to see how a flat thing will fit a 3D thing. I also put it down to having an internal sense of direction. By this I mean that while I may not always know where North is (seldom), I always know where I have been, so I can go back. My SOGP may always know where North is (often), but he gets lost because he doesn't remember where *he* has been in the landscape.

I had a lot of trouble in Physics, though, because a lot of the preliminary concepts were taught in the shop courses (electricity) which I was not allowed to take. So the guys got to Physics with six years of electricity understanding and continued use and expansion of those concepts in the shop courses.

TANGENT - it's like the archaic moaning about how silly and frivolous women are - when this is written by men in their 30s 40s 50s about the wives they are taking who are teenagers - sometimes quite young teenagers. Geez Looeez guys - how to stack the deck.

The article about Ireland and the border was helpful. Up til now, I hadn't been able to make sense of what was mentioned about the Brexit border issues.
