Less than $20 a MWH is pretty cheap.

I don't actually understand this topic, but although the general trend of solar prices decreasing is very very good, my informant in solar politics added "You have to remember that the ME countries are having a pointless cockwaving contest to set the lowest headline price" and "Oh, don't be daft. There's some kind of escalator/ multiplier/ kickback on this, even if I don't know exactly what."

(Apparently https://www.pv-tech.org/editors-blog/47545 goes into more detail but I can't vouch for it personally.)

I think that basically boils down to "This looks too good to be true, and probably the reason for that is that the Saudi government is providing really, really cheap financing for reasons of public policy."

Which I could believe. Some of the money spent will wash back around the Saudi economy, Saudi firms learning how to install and maintain solar PV installation is probably useful and for every MWH of solar PV generation in Saudi Arabi the Saudis can export some extra gas.

The link about sex and teens had a number of excellent points, but other than the bizarre porn-derived idea that pubic hair is vile, I also don't see any of this as new or shocking. The quote:

"When I was at school there were problems with webcams and sex chats and msn messenger.
"But I can't remember boys talking about girls like this.

Seemed to me to merely indicate a lack of awareness or memory of how things were when this person was a teen.
