Date: 2017-09-13 07:34 pm (UTC)According to that article, the researchers followed up 17 of their initial 50 patients for 6 months, and found that only 11 of them managed to stay at their lower weight for even that long. And then they said “This first NHS Endobarrier service demonstrates that Endobarrier therapy is highly effective”!
Not only that: “all the patients were encouraged to follow a healthy diet and take exercise. [...] Patients [...] said they had more energy, were more able to exercise and had improved wellbeing.” No kidding.
