So personality test results change radically between the ages of 14 and 77. What also changes radically is how people are treated by others, from being treated as a clever pet at age 14 to a respected elder at age 77. People are a product of their environment and the results of this study should not come as a surprise given that social environment varies with age.

As someone who's only a decade and a bit off 77, it's hard to say how similar or otherwise I am to the fourteen-year-old me. Society's certainly changed a huge amount, and I'm sure I care a lot less about what society thinks of me now than I did at 14. One thing I'm sure that hasn't changed though is that I've remained an introvert. I've always hated large social gatherings.

You can make a good guess as to how someone will do in life up to their late 30s if you assess them when they're 3 though...

Maybe it's just that nothing useful can come from studying fourteen-year-olds. :)
