Date: 2014-09-09 07:37 am (UTC)I got canvassed by YES, yesterday. Just ordinary folk with a couple of reasonable personal reasons but no real handle on the wider issues.
Well heeled elderly folk who would, statistically, once upon a time, formed part of Edinburgh's Tory core vote but are now simply sick and tired of Westminster's corrupt, mis-managed, undemocratic, unrepresentative, unaccountable, unfair, single-party politics.
Oh! And the media almost had me for a moment there (it's all about opium! Honest, guv!): I forgot that the war in Afghanistan is about oil and gas.
