Microsoft: Working on an augmented reality headset.
Sony: Working on a virtual reality headset.

The Oculus Rift dev kit I tried was very cool - and I'm really looking forward to seeing what the final version looks like, and whether they can stop the nausea effect. No news on when that's coming either.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that at least one of them finds a way to make this stuff work.

On the topic of wearable tech... How're you getting on with your Pebble?

I'm still thinking about getting a Kreyos Meteor... But may wait to see what Apple pulls out the bag later this year as they are also reported to be releasing a smartwatch.
