I have a load of those china animals which I have been (trying) to sell at boot fairs. Clearly I should have shoved them in a box and sent a note to Charles Saachi.

On 'art': I'm kinda with Glen. Although I recognise that appreciation of art is a completely subjective experience, I prefer art that is beautiful or interesting to me personally and took some skill (some 'art') to produce. I struggle with some conceptual and/or modern art which just seems to be sheer wankery: an exercise in seeing how much stupid rich people will pay for something banal.

But, like they say, the value of something is how much someone is willing to pay for it and I suspect that many of the people at the gallery were there to evaluate it, to gauge that value, rather than to appreciate it...

Yeah, I like pretty things, things that make me think, or at least things that have a strong emotional reaction. Things that just make me go "WTF?" don't do anything for me.
